Luna has a story worthy of being told. However, this documentary feels like a high schoolers final project. Perhaps the biggest failure was the lack of editing during interviews. One man says, ‘I can't be racist because I'm British.' Another person uses the term, "negroid," boldly and un-ironically with no historical context. Was her life not interesting enough that you had to resort to postulating a conspiracy behind her death? This was like an episode of Documentary Now. I love documentaries, but this one is so lazy it's honestly insulting.

Riveting, as her story was lost until now. Beautifully executed by director Nailah Jefferson.
