I only watched this for Bobby Lee. I thought that Esther's character wasn't very likeable, at least not enough to overcome the annoyance. Bobby wasn't there much and that's ok he never is. I thought a lot of the jokes fell flat but I love some of the people in this movie so I still liked it 😁

Esther is a great podcast host. No other notes.

I actually really enjoyed this movie & found it funny throughout, the point of it is meant to be cringey teenie bopper no life skills on her cellphone, which I guess could trigger some people, but she's loveable at the end of the day no matter how annoying she is.

I'm always looking for things that are entertaining without being stressful! This movie is exactly that. I was confused by June's character at first, but the more I watched, the more I fell in love with what the movie was doing. It's so different, I was compelled. There's something about June that puts me at ease. Her laissez-faire attitude towards life and confidence is so fun to watch. This is going to be a movie I watch over and over again. It's funny and comforting. <3 I love it!

Such boring writing / lines between the actors that I forgot I was watching the movie. Imo, just terrible. Too bad because the cast is good.

Movie is so quirky and hilarious I was really surprised. For those that love Wes Anderson style movies and a really funny joke filled script, as well as seeing real cameos from standup comics, this one is a treat (Bill Burr, Bobby Lee). The main characters is this oddball strange talking chirpy lady who talks non-stop like she's in a tiktok or youtube short. Its so oddball I love it. It is incredibly rare to see hilarious movies these days, this needs to be savoured.

I was ready to give up on it after the first 35 minutes; however, it found its footing (or I bought into the premise) in the last hour and found myself chuckling at the absurdity and deadpan humor. It might be one of those movies that is better the second time around, knowing what you’re going into and letting it ride. I love Beverly D’Angelo, but would’ve cast parents who were at least 10 years younger; the age gap wasn’t believable for someone who I assume was supposed to be around 25 (June).

Immediately confused by Junes age . I can see this character as a teenager . Or very early twenty something. I thought the actors who played Junes parents were not a good fit . Her brother was perfect . Big fan of Bobby Lee .

I normally enjoy watching these coming of age stories but i couldnr get past the first 10 minutes. The main character June seemed fun and worthwhile but the dinner scene with the brother...I couldn't. It sounds like an old person wrote the script without even researching kids today. I might try again later but I think the rest of it will sound like this so I don't think it's worth the time for anyone to watch this.
