El Chicano

This was a great movie don't be mislead by the review I loved it.

After watching it, I found that the story background of this movie is great, and the details are very clear.

The Redhood movie we don't deserve. Maybe I would rate it lower if a live action Redhood movie existed.

3 stsrs; With no apologies to Marvel or DC movies, I really enjoy Superhero movies where the hero doesn't have any special superpowers. Just a desire and motivation to 'do the right thing. The LA Barrios Cartel scene was a good location for the action reflecting today's headlines. Yeah. The plot was pretty storyboard, but I liked the way Raul Castillo played the role in a way that gave you empathy for his character. There was plenty action, including the obligatory car chase. But it wasn't too overdone, like many Superhero Movies. I'm already looking forward to a El Chicano - 2. The story is unfinished. Revenge is left hanging in the air.

I think it was a good movie in my opinion. Hope for a part 2.

Plays like a 'not as good' long CW Arrow-verse type show.

The plot was predictable and the story disjointed at times.

Much better than expected. Good Action scenes. You could do much worse than this.

I loved it... sooo much action just the way my family likes it

Boring. Unless you are a Mexican-American / Chicano, from the LA area, this moving isn't exactly relevant. I say it is entertaining at best. It's hard to take George Lopez seriously in a drama/action role though. He is so funny and talented that it is a bit hard not the wait for a joke here an there.
