Very well done. Compelling, and lively- got my feet stomping throughout, but also had me in tears. Beautifully done

This is without a doubt one of the most fascinating movies I've ever seen. Austin Butler's performance is one of the best portrayals of a character I've ever seen, and the story and visuals the movie presented were remarkable. I definitely recommend it!

A truly heart wrenching story which keeps the viewer engaged and hungry for Elvis’ story. Once again, Austin Butler produces a grand display of his talents as an adaptable and unrestricted actor. The director’s choice of casting and visual aesthetics was surprising yet flawless, delivering a thoroughly tense and enjoyable movie of Presley’s rise to glory.

I’m not a big fan of Baz Luhrmann nor of non-linear storytelling, but the movie works because of Austin Butler’s amazing performance. He’s so good that it’s hard not to think you’re watching the real Elvis. And when the real Elvis appears at the end he looks wrong. Not sure about Tom Hank’s’ turn as the colonel, but the real one was far nastier. And the music! And the cars! A special mention to the actor playing Little Richard, you nailed it.

I didn't buy the Elvis actor. After that, it was all over

A beautiful movie that intensely brings to life Elvis' rise in the world of music, through the eyes of his manager Colonel Tom Parker. This is perhaps the weak point, from a narrative perspective... Elvis' true personality as a man and artist has not been explored in depth for me, precisely because of the cumbersome presence of the manager who is the narrator of the story. Perhaps in some points it seemed a little too frenetic, in full Luhrmann style, but aesthetically splendid. Excellent performances, especially that of Austin Butler. Is it the definitive film I would like to see about Elvis? Certainly not... but it is worth watching.

Emotional, captivating, and full of soul. Just a wonderful and heartfelt portrayal of Elvis.

The movie felt fake. Do you want us seriusly to believe that girls were literally passing out because they hear a random guy play some music?

It’s a real skill to make a story this interesting so boring
