Not bad movie, that's for sure. But is big and very slowly.

This is a movie unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. To me, its defining feature is its first-person point of view, which starts as very jarring and distracting (accurately reflecting the chaos of being alive) before shifting to a more relaxed, semi-first-person angle that still feels intimate but significantly more comfortable. The directing throughout the film does such an incredible job of making you feel what the protagonist is feeling (if it can even be called feeling) and that’s what really stands out to me. It’s held back a little by a weaker first act with some stiff acting and awkward dialogue, but as the film moves into surreality, these things are less noticeable. Overall, this is not a film I would recommend to everyone and at times it was a very difficult watch, but I love the effect that it had on me and I’m truly impressed by the visual, auditory, and narrative marvel of Enter the Void.

This is without a doubt the worst movie I have ever seen. I went into a minor depression for a few days after because of how bad it was - it made me not want to watch movies anymore. I could provide critical analysis to lend my opinion credibility, but honestly even thinking about this movie makes me sad and angry. It’s not worth my energy and it is certainly not worth your time. Gaspar Noe, you are a hack and I hate you.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é mais ou menos, o filme tem uma parte meio primeira pessoa de jogo de ps3,4,5 e meio psicodélico e maluco.

It is a representation (imo) of the "bardo" the state of limbo that a being lives after their death, that's why there's the Tibetan book of the dead in the movie I think. It is seductive but ultimately it feels like something you should watch while on drugs in order to appreciate it fully.

Great visuals and interesting concept, but the plot needs more.

Visually awesome. I watched it multiple times. Not for everyboy though.

Looks like Gaspar Noe has created his own genre. This film is purely a cinematographic treat with "first person" POV. Director choregraphed a dance between actors and camera and its just so refreshing to see such achievement in cinematography. Not many directors go into the "forbidden genre" and create something of its own. Lars Von Trier, Park Chan Wook etc are some directors who make completely dark, explicit and daring kind of cinema and Gasper Noe is being one of those directors.

It felt unnecessarily drawn out by the second half of the film, but perhaps that is appropriate for a film about life, death, and rebirth. Characters were super effed up, but this is a Gaspar Noe film after all. It is not his best work IMO, but it was still solid work overall. The visual representations of both drug trips as well as death and spirit perception/flight were excellent, but eventually became a bit tedious as the narrative became a bit tiresome. I was ready for it to be over when it finally ended, but I was also glad I had watched/experienced it. Maybe that is how I will feel at the end of my own life…

Absolutely terrible. Surprised this got positive reviews. Sure it takes a trippy experience of taking an acid trip, but the ending was explicitly atrocious. A lot better drug movies out there like "Spun", "Requiem for a Dream", and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas".
