Escape from Germany

, 89% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhat a fascinating story. Never had heard of this before the movie. And the information they ran during the credits was as fascinating as the movie itself.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis religious movie was really good. Paul Wuthrich, Sebastian Barr, Landon Henneman, David McConnell, and the rest of the cast did a fantastic job in this movie. This true story about Mormon missionaries escaping Germany just days before the Poland invasion was dramatic, inspirational, and amazing. It's about doing what God has asked you to do and to be strong no matter how dangerous it can get. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's a definite must see.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsInteresting movie about courageous and dedicated people in dangerous time. At the end of the movie they showed photos and names of the actual men who escaped. It did not show the equally courageous women involved . I do not know if that is an LDS philosophy but I felt that it did not fairly recognize honor the women?
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsSaw it since it came so highly recommended, but I didn't realize that it was about LDS missionaries. It was a simple film that focused on the story, but never went beyond that despite trying to incorporate larger themes. I identified with parts of it and I enjoyed the Budapest filming, but this won't appeal to a wider audience. SLC Library DVD.

- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsOne of TC Christensen's most expensive and ambitious films, and very realistic and well done. However, to me, it didn't have the emotional impact of his other inspiring films.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe movie was spellbinding and inspiriting.
