    It’s sly, it’s arnie and it’s a blast…watched it too many times …brilliant movie

Silly but fun enough. Sly is awful and it’s hard to decipher what he’s saying most the time. Annie does a reasonable job. Watched on SKY Cinema.

It was ok, kind of nonsensical at times, even from the first ten minutes when he breaks out.

Silly flick I watched last night. Bad acting by all sadly. Screenplay is weak. Too bad because I like the premise of the story. Could have been pretty great. The dumbest scene ever is when Sylvester Stallone (who is supposed to be a genius but can’t even figure out he’s been duped by overly friendly Schwarzenegger) fashions a sextant out of paper, a pen, and glasses lenses. Ok so let go with it…a few moments later a fellow prisoner uses it to determine latitude from inside an open air prison pit. Lol. That is impossible. You need to see the horizon to use a sextant. I hate when move makers do stuff like that. Bottom line this is watchable but silly and at the end you will be laughing out loud.

Seeing two action icon actors together is always cool and fun, especially these two, who seem to have good synergy when they act in the same film. And here it is no different, with an interesting plot, but very predictable. Every situation in which Ray Breslin (Stallone) is placed captures attention, but it is already known what outcome he will have. The location of the prison and the ending of the film are no secret, if you pay attention, you will kill the “riddle” in the middle of the story. Of course, forced scenes couldn't be missed, right? And there are also some incoherent things, for example, how does a lawyer become the master of an escape route in such a short time?

If you miss your standard 80s action movie, this is for you. The acting is good, the plot meets the minimum requirements for a decent movie. If you think about the movie too much there is a lot that doesn't make sense, but if you are just looking to kill time this will do the trick.

🍀 3.6/10 Unknowingly met Jeff Keith today. Anyways I really have nothing to say about this movie. I mean it’s cool to see Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in something together but like meh I was kind of bored.
