Delicioso e criativo...

This movie was fantastic!! In 1966 I was just 6 years old. I was so mesmerized by the color and effects that I couldn't step away! To this day, I still remember the movie clearly, and most of all, the way I felt when I was watching it. Brilliant!

I watched this movie on a battered old VHS simply labeled "Nature" dozens of times. It had some truly memorable practicle effects and sets. Being an 80s and 90s baby I am no expert in older sci fi but this movie really went all out with the budget, i feel like it would have a lot of appeal for many people wether they are loking for campy B (B+?) movie sci-fi or borderline psychedelic weirness. It's non stop craziness. Rick and Morty had an episode that is basically an updated remake of this movie. In fact now that I'm thinking about it this movie would most likely appeal to fans of R and M, Adventure Time... etc. The sets and production look like campy 60s versions of modern cartoons. Oh and this film features Donald Pleasence who was one of the great supporting actors of his time no matter what role he was in.

Fascinating movie featuring groundbreaking special effects at the time. The sound effects may be even more impressive.

Some strong ideas but too cheap to pull them off.

Conceptually awe-inspiring but easily subject to changing scientific knowledge (and optical effects), this sci-fi classic did what it set out to do: explore an unpopular part of our natural world that exists inside all of us.

A very well done movie based on yet another book that I haven't read, nevertheless it manages to deliver a good experience thanks to its storytelling, I really enjoyed it and would totally watch again.

I enjoyed it quite a lot. It has a unique look and a very interesting premise. I also think that it's fun to see how the crew gets out of certain situations and problem solves along their journey. It's pretty obvious who the saboteur is from the beginning, which is the movie's biggest flaw, but it doesn't detract too much from the entertainment of the film. I also like how it ends abruptly. No wasting time with a boring epilogue or anything, it ends as soon as they complete the mission. Old movies are charming in a way.

I saw this movie many years ago. I loved the idea of the storyline and thought the the effects were awesome! The 1987 Si-Fi comedy Inner Space with Martin Short and Dennis Quade was an homage to this earlier movie. Fantastic voyage is still one of my favorite classic Si-Fi movies.

In an effort to save the life of a scientist, a group of specialists and their submarine are miniaturized and injected into the body in an attempt to dissolve a life-threatening blood clot. While the premise of Fantastic Voyage seems interesting (albeit wildly implausible) on paper, the film is done in by admirable but unconvincing special effects and the sad fact that a journey through the human body is actually a bit of a bore. Other than warding off attacks from antibodies and some aggressive white blood cells, the characters spend a lot of time simply pointing at things and asking questions like ‘what's that?' You have to have a certain amount of admiration for the effort and the insane premise, but that's about all that Fantastic Voyage has to offer.
