Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
audience Reviews
, 89% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe film is a masterpiece. It's not about the drugs, it's about the fallout of the war on drugs, destroying the hippy movement and divorcing the use of drugs from a meaningful social movement. This is THE movie on Late Stage Capitalism.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is one of the best movies of all time to watch when you yourself are under the influence of a psychedelic. I still think it stands on its own as a good film if you understand the back story of Hunter S. Thompson, his journalistic approach, and just the way that he lived his life.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsDisorienting to the point of near vomiting, 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' definitely succeeds in what it wants to covey, a drug trip. A drug trip complete with repetitive storytelling, exhaustingly bombastic camerawork, kooky performances, aimless existence and insufferable pacing, An exercise in complete surrealism... even if that isn't what most people really want to see in the way it's presented.
