It had a fresh setting that could’ve given the genre something new, but instead delivered a flat, paint-by-numbers slasher. The story was thin offering little buildup or depth—just a series of obvious plot beats strung together. The kills, while visually gory, felt hollow. With no real tension or character investment, they played more like items on a checklist than moments of horror. There's no atmosphere, no mystery just an in your face approach that skips any meaningful storytelling. It’s a film that had potential, but ultimately felt like a wasted opportunity.

Normally these are quiet good however this one is a waste of time. There's no plot build up or explanation to characters backstory it just jumps into killing. The character castings were also bad no one had any personality. Mediocre would be a reach.

When the killer's mask is removed, and you don't recognize the killer, it's an utter failure of a slasher whodunnit.

I love the vibe of this movie. The party's 80's music, the soundtrack, the scream style, everything. Lori Granger is easily one of the bests final girls i have ever seen. The movie is fun from start to finish. Great slasher. People who hate this movie just don't understand that the trilogy is over and Fear Street doesn't need to be related to Sarah Fier.

wasn't as bad as I'd thought but definitely not as good as the past Fear Street movies. The characters felt flat and the plot was boring

waste of my time and a wasted opportunity to make a good movie. Had absolutely nothing to do with the other 3 movies and was just very unoriginal overall. I dont even know why and how it is even linked to fear street.

This fourth film in the franchise (adapting the 15th book) is a disappointment. After a solid first half, time starts to drag — and drag a lot. What could’ve been wrapped up in 45 minutes is painfully stretched to a never-ending 90. And all of it for a final reveal that’s deeply underwhelming.

This horror movie was alright. India Fowler, Chris Klein, Katherine Waterston, Fina Strazza, Suzanna Son, and the rest of the cast did a decent job in this movie. The plot of the movie was bizarre and crazy. It's about a twisted plot of killing prom queen candidates. If you haven't seen this movie yet, don't waste your time. It's not worth it.

None of the characters felt authentic enough to be believable. It's so disappointing compared to the original trilogy, but even on its own, there's just nothing interesting about it. The acting was decent by the main character and her best friend. That's all. It felt like they didn't even have fun with the 80s concept or really stay true to it? Just badly written and constructed and a waste of a couple really promising young talents.

It didn’t make much sence. The last ones I explain it a lot more this one was just a gory slasher film no back story
