i keep trying to find movies i haven't seen and this was o.k. 4 star but 1 star off because the song by father and daughter could have been something SO cool and more appropriate but it made me cringe-just saying f. this an f that doesn't make you cool

It's a comedy and I know it's not the best movie but it makes you have a fun and enjoyable time, in my personal opinion it's a good movie to watch when you don't have something to watch, I'm not saying it's good, let alone saying it's bad it's just an interesting movie. Thanks for your time

Great acting and some great jokes. Just not enough jokes to last the entire movie.

It's just meant to be a dumb, fun movie that you're supposed to have a laugh with. If you go into it expecting anything else, you'll probably be disappointed. It's certainly not the best comedy compared to other great comedy films. There are certainly some stand out scenes that get a reaction out of you. I love Charlie Day and Ice Cube, I think they did good for what they were given. While everyone else is just kinda there. Some of the comedy hits, some doesn't. So overall, it's not bad at all but not amazing either. Don't go into it expecting a great script or cohesive story because that's not what the movie was focusing on, it was meant to just be dumb fun.

"Fist Fight" is exactly what a movie with its premise needs to be, which is a dumb comedy. I think with the right mindset, there is fun to be had with this movie. The jokes sometimes are repetitive and ride the same wavelength, but I did have fun watching this movie. I've always liked Charlie Day and think anyone who enjoys his brand of chaotic humor can find enjoyment here. I'm not sure this movie says anything really productive in terms of themes or messages, but it is a wacky ride that still delivers a lot of solid raunchy, and slapstick jokes. Overall, it is a very silly comedy that isn't going among the great movies in the genre but is a lot better than most will have you believe it is and actually delivers some solid laughs.

Not my choice of viewing matter - I hated high school - but there was absolutely nothing else on the other night (Peacock). The film dragged on leading to 3:00 pm and the titular Fist Fight but a few good chortles to be had, especially when Strickland arrives at the hospital reception desk and, with his usual tact and grace, announces his presence to the unresponsive nurse/receptionist. Haven't you ever felt his frustration? I have, and I'm still laughing at his audacious demand 3 days later. Good for him. My only problem with this movie is a lack of well-behaved students. The entire student body is either pulling a prank or laughing at pranks or goading on the pranksters. My high school was full of jerks including false bomb-threat callers who, bare-handed, toppled cop cars onto their sides when help arrived but, there in among the evacuees standing out in the rain was I, an Old School nerd, a dying breed, shivering and - ok, also snickering. Go, Lancers!
