Five Feet Apart
audience Reviews
, 79% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA beautiful romance. I genuinely loved and hated this movie. But it's how reality is. How strong love is but how quickly you can lose the ones you love.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsbased on the book Three Feet Distance, written by Travis Flores, and stolen by Justin Baldoni. Until Travis gets credit, nobody should watch this movie.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLoved every bit of it. Made me appreciate life and my loved ones even more.. ♥️
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsYes, it is sappy and if they had controlled the saccharine element it would have been a more successful movie. The heroine, the nurse Barb and Dr Hamid deliver very strong performances. I have some reservations about Will that looks to me too much like a pretty boy, but I have to admit that I am not, nor have ever been an adolescent girl. Overall, a story about teens afflicted with a life threatening condition inescapably invites melodrama and then the function of the filmmaker is to keep things under control. Some elements of the story and some songs of the soundtrack were a little too much.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAnother Rom Com about sick kids back when Hollywood decided these were the best teen love stories. And while there were plenty of bad ones, tons and tons of bad ones, this one is one of the better ones. I liked both leads. I think they did a good job presenting how high schools kids with this condition would act and respond with this condition. The ending did not pull punches but seemed to fit and maybe not as forced as some even if I kind of saw it coming a mile away. This does not tread new and original ground but is competent at what it does. It is a non-offensive sick kid rom-com if that is what you are looking for.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars"Five Feet Apart" (A Cinco Passos de Você), is a romantic drama that, although it uses some clichés, manages to charm with its sensitive premise and the strong chemistry between the leads, Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson. The film portrays the relationship between two young people with cystic fibrosis, offering an approach to the disease without descending into excessive melodrama. Despite some predictable moments, the film carries a sincerity, especially when it focuses on the emotions and challenges the characters face. The plot could have been deeper, but the connection between the two leads and the way the film addresses health issues makes it an engaging experience.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA beautiful must see movie
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars(THERES A TINT BIT OF SPOILERS) So when I first watched that movie i was like 10 maybe 11 and i cried so hard just from the death factor of it. Back then I cried a little bit but now... OMG- so now im 15 almost 16 and I cried through the whole thing. now understanding more of the meanings behind the movie it hit so hard. this movie hit so hard my chest physically hurts now from how hard i cried. it is an amazing movie though, i will give it that. While yes its a very sad movie they didnt just make it boom boom boom theirs 1000 sad things and it just keeps getting worse. its a sad movie but theirs bonds built and light hearted moments which end up making the movie sadder because you know that at the end someone is going to die. but yeah i cant watch this movie for another 5 years because i need some recovery time on this... BUT ITS SUCH A GREAT MOVIE 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE SICK AND HAVE A STUFFY NOSE (me) <also i love cole sprouse 😭)
