Flashbacks of a Fool

just caught it on prime; some movies you get some you don't, seems most of the critiques here didn't...definitely worth a watch!!!

If you just want to see Daniel Craig scowl at the screen for an hour and a half then this is for you otherwise avoid at all costs it you want to watch an entertaining movie with charismatic performances and interesting plot lines because this movie is soo boring I nearly felt asleep why does Daniel Craig always look so bored in the role is he just their for a paycheck he is bland in this film it’s cheap looking enough to be a made for tv film and one of main reasons is this didn’t even get many critic reviews most people don’t even know this movie despite having one of the latest James Bond star in the film it’s boring as hell 1/10 for entertainment scale 2/10 as quality overall weak film

This is a fabulous film, a great story and top class performances ....

One of my all time favourite films, great acting and the music is sublime.

A perfect Jewel of a film about the human heart and ties that bind. it is well cast, extremely well acted by all and beautifully shot. these are not cookie cutter characters like James Bond. it has some thing for everyone. Handsome burned out movie stars, nervous mothers of teenagers, The sensitive kid in town who is following his Creative instincts which bring him fame and in the process he leaves behind his first love and possibly one true love. it is one of the best love stories ever end and unlike most American films there is not a perfect ending. It is neither happy nor unhappy. it leaves you asking questions about your own choices in life and about desire and redemption. The critics are wrong. It needs to be watched not only with the mind engaged but the heart engaged. Which leads one to wonder if being a critic precludes having a heart. Also it really made me like Dan Craig for taking the money from his first Bond film and making this little gem with a friend. Enough said.

Great movie ,what a movie should be starting with a good story and great acting

Wonderful storytelling of a boy with a life that you understand better as the story unfolds. Daniel Craig is brilliant, a Tour de force performance. Some of the content can be harsh and abrasive, which isn't necessarily for everyone. If you can get past that, which is part of the story, you will not be displeased.

I guess it's relative to when you were born and what you relate to in life but my wife and I love this movie and probably watch it 3 times a year always laughing and crying in equal amounts. For us it's a masterpiece of modern movie making and its a great story well filmed and told and the sound track is pretty damn cool too how ever gave this 38 % does have a heart !! Really 38 % having said that I've watched some supposedly 90% plus movies and though what a load of shit !! Each to their own ??
