The movie is amazing, The idea of the movie is brilliant! Animals trying to survive a flood. The characters are good because each one has a unique personality, The art style is wonderful! It mixes 3D and painting technic. It's a perfect movie for teenagers and adults.

I thought it was plodding along then found myself realizing how touching it was its hypnotic message.

Latvian director Gints Zilbalodis's enchanting eco-fable about a lone moggy in a flooded world is a triumph of imagination over budget.

Flow is a visual treat and a dreamy enchantment. The illustrations and graphics are otherworldly. The emotions carried within the subtleties, from a blink to a twitch of an ear, are immense. The detailing is impeccable. Watching this is like drawing parallels to witnessing magic unfold before our eyes. Every sequence is bewitching to behold. I never thought I could hate dogs so much. Or love capybaras as much. The animation aspect aside, the story was weak, slow, and repetitive. Fall into the water, swim back up, fall into the water, swim back up, fall into the water, and swim back up the same way again—oh and another time. Considering the sound effects and tracks perfectly created a 'Sleep Mix' effect, this uneventfulness lulled me to sleep.

Not sure what all the fuss is about this movie. Like ok it's cute but where's the story? And somehow all the humans are just strangely absent from the entire movie like they all just mysteriously disappeared? And the flood came as quickly as it went like Noah's ark and then what happens after the movie? Why is there even a movie??

It was amazing and definitely had me thinking hours after I finished. It was astonishing and more profound than what I was originally coming into this movie for. Visuals were amazing, and the story was amazing all around.

Gints Zilbalodis's Flow is a masterclass in minimalist storytelling, offering a visually arresting, dialogue-free odyssey that transcends traditional animation norms. Without any spoken words, the film relies on expressive animation, naturalistic animal behaviors, and a compelling musical score to convey deep emotional resonance. Definitely one of a kind movie with profound meaning behind every action of the characters. Love it.

Felt like a crappy Unreal Engine Switch Port game. First of all: The 16 company logos at the start of the movies genuinely sent me laughing. Literally when you thought it was going to end, they shown ANOTHER COMPANY LOGO. Second: There is basically no story at all. AT ALL. Like one moment they are on the boat, next moment the cat fell out, next moment the cat is back on the boat and 5 minutes later the cat fell back in the water. Third: the animation is unique, but nothing to write home about. It feels more like a technical demo or a PC benchmark video than a movie. Last but not least: it ends REALLY abruptly. Just as I kind of started to get it, it ended randomly. Is it a alright movie? Fine Is it a £15 movie? (which is what we paid on Apple TV) No chance.

Not just animated film of the year but in my opinion film of the year full stop.. stunning on every level, visually, emotionally, the soundtrack is absolutely spot on throughout and wringing so much emotion out of a film with zero dialogue is some achievement.. 10/10 all day long and worthy of any and all awards...
