Very clever and beautiful acting by 2 protagonists.

One of my favorites in this genre. Thought provoking

Mescal especially is fun to watch, but the storyline is a little weak and feeds into today's approved tropes a tad too much. 3.25/5

Absolute drivel, that’s two hours of my life I won’t get back

Only thing worse than the movie is the acting and direction.

Saoirse, Paul and Aaron delivered fantastic performances. Didn't see the plot twist coming, although the foreshadow was very well made. It's not a simple movie, it's provocative. Not only is a warning about the future, but also about marriage. Fantastic film!

Very well acted and uber-talented Saoirse Ronan plays the piano pretty well, but I found the script to be insufferable nonsense. And sorry, but anyone who says I just didn't get it is simply being pretentious. One or two good scenes can't save us from this mess of a screenplay.

Genuinely think this movie would have been better just by letting Saorise and Paul Mescal speak normally and not naming his character junior. Went in not knowing much and was disappointed, but it wasn’t all bad and I don’t regret seeing it. I liked that it was a super small cast. Some beautiful shots, glimmers of good acting (best performances during shower meltdown scenes), and interesting themes, but overall feel the combination of AI, failing marriage, space, and eco-crisis is attempting to tackle too much, and there’s still a lot I don’t fully understand. The dialogue is also just not good.

Foe takes the problem of relocating people from earth to a space station and turns it over on itself so many times that its numbing instead of thrilling.
