- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsUnfortunately wasn't able to finish this one sitting due to the amount of pauses, which made a bit frustrating but that doesn't have any affect on my rating. I won't lie this movie was boring in a lot of parts but the silly fights between Jason and Freddy made up for it, there were a few funny moments, but not nearly as much as the previous movies in this franchise. I think this addition is just okay, don't love it, don't hate it. You can also see the improvement of visual effects over the years which is admirable. 5.5/10
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsExactly what we wanted it to be. The film doesn't take itself too seriously and it's fun, slasher fun for fans of both franchises.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsAwesome concept for 2 icons, but it didn't really seem to flush out as good as it could have. It's decent but some really cheesy, lame attempts. Jason was really made out to be a joke. The corn field stood out the most and made for the most epic scene for me.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThe ending is crazy and cool spoilers ahead like when in the final fight freddy trys kill a girl but it doesn't work then he realizes that he's in the real world that was crazy 10 out of 10
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsShould've gotten a sequel. I'm team Jason 4 ever
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThis movie is definetly not a masterpiece, but if you are a fan of either a nightmare on elm street or Friday the 13th, which I am for both, then chances are you will absolutely love this movie! The fights between Freddy and Jason are awesome, and the kills are amazing! A must watch for fans
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAwesome movie Freddy vs Jason is a fun movie that delivers a fight between the two killers in both dream and real worlds while the main characters are bad but the Freddy and Jason going on a killing spree that’s good and fight to the death 8/10 wish there was a sequel
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis film actually looks great, probably the best of both franchises. The pace is excellent with only momentary dull moments. Some of the effects are really cheesy but, for me, that adds to the enjoyment. There is lots of violence but not especially gory. The dropped frame effect is super annoying. The characters are engaging and this is also down to the excellent casting. The actual versus dream fight is pretty farcical and one-sided which was a shame. The real world versus fight was much better with a great conclusion. It’s fun overall and entertaining but far from the best of either franchise.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI think it’s an incredible movie. I think people look too deep into it but if you love both franchises, the action scenes the story everything is pretty well done. Honestly, it’s up there as one of my favorite horror movies. It’s the perfect balance of comedy/horror you’ll see in early 2000s Movies people forget it’s not meant to replace anything. It’s simply a homage.
