Friendship

, 74% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsI am not exaggerating when I say the moment this stinker ended the person I was with and I said the same exact thing and that was there’s 2 hours of my life I can never get back. This is in the running for the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Horrible acting, ridiculous story lines that go no where and are ridiculously stupid. Save your time and money.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWe did not enjoy the movie at all. There was no chemistry or connection between the characters. None of them were even likable! And, none of the scenes seemed to build a plot, but seemed like discreet events.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA funny, witty adult comedy. I went into this movie thinking I would leave midway - had seen the trailer and didn’t care much. But I’m really glad I went. Had not laughed out loud for a long time in the movies like I did today. The frog-licking hallucinogenic trip scene is a classic!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI think you should leave for 2 hours
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsone of the worst movies I've ever seen. people outside the theater afterwards had to explain that it was cringe comedy and kind of niche. not for me!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsSolid movie that was only mildly entertaining. Paul Rudd’s charisma could only take this movie so far. There were funny moments and stylistically the film was a masterpiece, but the plot and given the genre of comedy, it did not get the job done. It was only mildly funny and really rests on the shoulders of awkwardness. The plot was also very predictable. Decent film overall.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsThis is film is probably good intoxicated. There are two very funny scenes one of which was already shown online and the rest was a pointless weird ride. Shoulda been on Netflix
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI am not familiar with any of the works of this film's lead actor, Tim Robinson. But I saw this film the other day and still had a really great time. Friendship is a darkly hilarious take on the topic of suburban mundanity, and great writing and directing bring a fresh take to that concept. This was an interesting comedy for me in how I never was quite sure whether to laugh at this film or find it a sincere commentary on this issue. It's very subtle in its humor, but surprisingly effective. Tim Robinson and Paul Rudd both give great performances here in this film, and Robinson brings a lot of life to this film. Great writing and directing from Andrew DeYoung also give this film a lot of its strengths in how seriously it takes some aspects and unseriously it takes others. And this film was also incredibly unique, and I've never really seen anything with this film's attitude. I'm not sure if Friendship was a great time or a terrible time, but I loved it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsvery funny dark/ cringe comedy. its for fans of I think You Should leave.
