Fun With Dick and Jane

Deserves much higher, very underrated comedy. Very fun and never boring. Not meant to be a serious Oscar contending movie, but it's entertaining with lots of laughs.

Only reviewing this because I am disgusted this film is only rated 30% 😡

filme fraco, o roteiro é ruim, o filme tem duas partes boas, mas não é o suficiente para o filme ser bom, jim carrey pode salvar um pouco mas a sua parceira no filme não, esse filme eu não recomendo um dospioresde 2006 mesmo com a presença de um dos maiores comediantes do estados unidos e do mundo.

I just love this movie. I watch it every 2 years or so and love it each time. Jim Carey and Tea Leoni are excellent in this and have such great on screen chemistry. You feel for the characters and also have a good laugh along the way. Really easy watching movie.

I enjoyed the movie the first time but on a recent rewatch years later I think it's fantastic. The chemistry between Jim and Tea is infectious. Her laugh while Jim is trying to rob stores, live rent free in my head. I'm confused by the hate in some of the reviewers takes. This is a fun ride with enjoyable characters regardless of how it might stack up against the original. I think it stands on its own. and is worth the watch 4/5.

Given the overall negative response to this movie, and having seen the original many years ago, I was wondering if this movie was as bad as the reviews suggest. Having seen it, I think not. Jim Carrey is excellent in the lead role, although I do think that his character is more Jim Carrey than Dick Harper. I was not familiar with Téa Leoni before this movie, but I felt that she portrayed Jane Harper in a really good and consistent way. The comedy elements are mainly visual and slapstick with only a little in the way of dialogue adding to the laughs. There are some inconsistencies and plot holes with the story that don't really cause too much hindrance to a viewer who wants purely to engage with the comedy elements. The story ends on a nice touch. I enjoyed this, and at 90 minutes it is not too overdone.

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen! Why rotten tomatoes gives this such a low rating is beyond me, I think rotten reviews would be more accurate! You will get many laughs from this film, Jim Carey and Tea Leoni are brilliant together and will have you watching this movie again and again!

it is funny at times but, it is not jim carrey's usual act.

What's not to like? It's funny, Carey and Leone have good chemistry, it doesn't overstay its welcome, and the corporate crook gets his comeuppance, just like never happens in real life.

This is truly a must watch comedy
