Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
audience Reviews
, 89% Audience Score- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI liked this movie, but Fury Road was better in my opinion. The story is really good, but I think this movie is less visually stunning then Fury Road. This movie is a prequel to Fury Road. It tells the story of Furiosa from her childhood when she was kidnapped and taken away. She is out for revenge and redemption against the man who killed her mother. It is a entertaining romp in the wastelands , none the less.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsExactly what you want it to be. Solid movie
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA great prequel not on tier as Fury Road but a must watch for fans alike.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsMad Max without Max?! :(
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA little disjointed and Taylor-Joy never fully grows into her role but the action sequences are awesome
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsI loved fury road but I found this film sort of boring. It was good to be in the mad max world and some parts of the film were ok (basicallly the second act) but the pacing is awful and the story/plot is messy. I really wanted to root for furiosa and I found myself getting starting to like her character (basically a female mad max) but it's so difficult to get past the fact she is 5ft 3 and 7 stone, it kept taking me out of the movie.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest action movie I’ve seen in a long time.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWhat made Fury Road so good, the streamlined story and practical special effects are lacking in Furiosa. The story is fairly straightforward, however not as tight as Fury Road. But the big difference are the wonky and over reliance on bad computerized special effects. Over used and blatantly obvious when the computerized effects were being used completely takes you out of the movie.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsSome of the best fantasy worldbuilding out there. Loved it and lived up to its sequel.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt has a mood and a sense of grandeur which is always nice but none of the action seems to make much sense. Furiosa doesn’t get furious, just hangs in there from one pointless endeavour to the next one. Nobody gains anything, just the rate of loss varies a bit. Angry procrastination. Seems like a fitting future.
