Is good and definitely to watch with family, tho it doesn't have much of a plot but if you wanna watch it just for the laughs, this is the perfect movie. And it may be not worth 4.5 stars but in my personal experience I had good memories with it.

The mentioned sequel that I said it's worse than the original.....*sigh*. I could list all the reasons wrong with this movie just from the PLOT, I would feel insulted watching this even as a kid(which I was). Bill Murray even exclaimed that this was his worst movie. I would give it zero stars but Rotten Tomatoes doesn't do that anymore, so reader/critics that are reading this, avoid this movie at all costs for the sake of your sanity.

A classic of my childhood. Really good.

Look, I am not gonna hate on Garfield. If you are an adult with a functioning brain, don't bother, but that isn't the target audience. If you are a small child, you will probably like the fart jokes, idiotic physical humor, and brightly colored cats. The movie knows what it wants to do and does it. Better than a generic direct to video romcom any day.

What a stupid and ridiculous movie why were they trying to mix the lives to these cat lookalikes, the plot is boring and I literally was confused at how each owners were not noticing them acting differently and the villlain in this is lame and obnoxcious his charachters motivations make no sense and he constantly trips on himself and acts like a elementary schooler throwing tantrum what does he even have against the cat does he hate cats? Because the movies themselves feel like getting cat scratched just like cat in the hat 2003 and cats 2019. Expect maybe a little. Better but that’s just because of the ending and the climax which was unintentinally hilarious. And when Garfield talks in a queery tone to that guard dog that alone made it from being as bad as cats but still no good
