Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties

At 70-odd minutes it's a short film but not engrossing enough to make time fly.

Yet another Hollywood kids' film subscribing to the offensive stereotype that Britain is peopled with aristocrats who live on vast estates and are waited on by a devoted and subservient staff.

Not to be catty, but did we need another Garfield movie?

There's something kind of strange about a bunch of animals cooking in a kitchen, when many of those animals would normally be getting cooked in a kitchen. But that is the least of this movie's problems.

Even for the chubbiest comic cat in captivity, Garfield's onscreen shtick is wearing a bit thin.

The best thing that can be said about Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties is that the movie isn't quite as bad as its name.

A slight improvement over the original, even if nothing much has changed.

I love Tim Curry. I make it a point to see nearly every Tim Curry film. Do you have any idea how many bad films this means I've seen?
