, 21% Audience Score- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsIt's not as bad as everyone is saying in the reviews. This is obviously taking place after the 2008 market crash, reflecting on the current state of careerists and explores the future of Gen Y in a capitalist world in the USA. It's kind of a stoner-style movie, but not like most others. With its light humor and laid-back tone, it was a fun mid-length film to watch. There are some weird scenes that make you go "Huh?", but that’s part of the charm.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe weirdly stacked cast does not save this unfunny frankly a little boring and poorly made film.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsUnfocused trying to be an ensemble movie just fast walks through its plot. I never cared about any of the characters enough to see if they did something.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsYeah, pretty bad. Very few funny moments
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI liked the characters and the actors, there is some really good humor in here, and an interesting premise about downsizing and self worth. Unfortunately, the last 3rd tries to go in too many zany directions and it kind of derails things. I preferred Company Men, although this is funnier in an offbeat sort of way.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsGreat flick. Old school feel.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAfter College, millennial Wil (Miles Teller) and his friends are having problems getting jobs in their career fields, as is his recently-retrenched dad (Bryan Cranston). With Anna Kendrick also in the cast, there is much potential, however, it is largely unrealised as everyone appears to just be going through the motions with a mediocre script.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsIf there's a societal statement under the titular relation, then it's pitifully sad via reflection. An uninspired, missed opportunity in the thematic tackle that should've followed the similarly-handed prompt with prior narratives being more successfully acclaimed and agreed upon relatability. Only for this poorly-tasted sense of direction going for the single thought of frivolously delivering an unfunny punchline to certify in self-contradiction as pointless. (C-)
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsAn amazing concept bridged down by a weak storyline, yet built up in anticipation and comedy by a well-performing cast. It tries to send some mixed messages, contradicting itself, but that allows for some good outreach and growth for the characters.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsIt's awful . Great cast . Trying to be witty and smart but it's a mess!
