Save yourself 90 minutes and do not watch this movie. It tries too hard, really hard, to make it funny. To the point where it is awfully unfunny and painful to watch. Normally a 'twist' is supposed to carry the movie, yet you see this one coming, and then once it's revealed you're like 'oh right, saw that coming' and then the last half of the film becomes more abut the 'twist'. No character development, in fact you genuinely despise all the characters and the plot follows no thread at all. I'm even writing this review before the end because it's one of those movies you watch that makes you so mad you invested time in that you watch the rest with one eye on the TV and the other on your phone. I repeat, do not watch this movie.

I had my doubts but I am glutton for punishment. Not saying the idea couldn’t work but the build is too dense and sinks it all like a lead anchor. I’m not sure anyone can make this idea work in 90-minutes. The end was the best part... only because it was over.

A freaking hilarious good time. The twist was jaw dropping. Tim Treakle

This movie becomes a real tedious slog by it's conclusion, but is saved in some small part by the dry, deadpan touches of Swedish humour.

Although hard to not compare it to Midsommar, with the Swedish setting and very similar plot, the actors in Get Away make it worth it with their performances and comedy. The blood and gore helps a lot too.

I really wanted to like this film – I thought Nick Frost and Aisling Bea would make comedy gold together, I love them both, but the result is just a bit too hammy (a dash for humour, and the point of showing us they're a "clean cut family" would have been OK, but it really slathers it on, bit too much shtick) and slow. The premise of this movie is great, but then, it really just relies on one plot turn, three quarters into it, to anchor the whole movie, which really isn't enough. The "twist" is quite obvious really, if you're a fan of the genre, from the breadcrumbed clues through the first part of the movie, but it really takes way too long to get to it, and there's not enough of interest between the start and the "twist". I felt like in that period they really padded out and over-explained the menace of the event way too much. We get it. A bit more basic show, don't tell needed, in my humble opinion. The movie looks fantastic, is shot really well though, and the moments of action are impressive.

Delightful comedy horror movie! Nick Frost and the entire cast were entertaining.

Decent twist, ok acting, somewhat funny, but mostly just drawn out killing.

The "twist" in the third act feels like a panic-move stemming from a lack of confidence from the writer(s)/director. Like, "we need this movie to be way better, what can we throw at it?!". I wish these British folk horror comedies would just lean more into a Wicker Man meets Royston Vasey vibe. It's a winning formula.
