Get the Girl
audience Reviews
, 28% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDefinitely not a mainstream movie, that being said Get The Girl is a fun ride, with a dark humor it made me laugh hard. Don't expect nothing serious from it.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsThis was fun, well crafted movie! I don’t know why the ratings are so low.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsDuring my 44 years on this earth, I've never watched a movie as bad as this. This is easily, not even arguably, the worst movie ever made in the history of cinema.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsDark comedy filled with odd (& stupid) characters involved in a fake hero setup that goes awry. If you only like mainstream movies; you should stay away from this. BUT, if you like odd flicks - check it out!
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsAlmost as bad as alone in the dark
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI rarely concern myself with the sexuality of characters in film, I think nine times out of ten a romance hinders more than it helps, but with Get the Girl I'd like to float you the idea of how drastically the script would be changed if the lead was gay. Keep everything else the same, but change is sexuality and you have (in my opinion) a much more enjoyable film. Obviously, that is not the case, so instead my takeaway from Get the Girl is two simple facts, the first was some new information, and the second was just confirming something I already knew: 1) There is a person on this Earth by the name of Jerry Purpdrank, and 2) Adi Shankar is a weird fuckin' dude.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsGet the Girl is a fun movie! It's not an Oscar winner, but it's entertaining and funny.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThis black-comedy thriller fails to capitalize on an exciting first act.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsstory is just as pathetic as the guy trying to get his "love of his life"
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis film is a fun adventurous examination of what a boy in love is willing to do to get the attention of a love interest.
