I liked the movie but the setup for the big bad guy just for him to get whooped kinda sold it

“Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” benefits from the chemistry between its cast, but too many characters and storylines keep it from being great.

It was pleasantly a movie

It felt like the script wasn’t very well written as it could have been. One time viewing is plenty for me.

Y a mí me parece perfecto.
(ENGLISH) I had my doubts during the first half, I’ll admit it. Everything felt a bit forced, too concerned with connecting all the dots. But as it went on… suddenly I found myself smiling the way I did when I was 9, back in that movie theater where I first saw Ghostbusters. I was scared again, laughed again, and felt that same tingle that great adventure films give you — the kind you never forget.
Yes, this new installment shamelessly leans into nostalgia. And I’m perfectly fine with that. For those of us who connected with the original, every little reference feels like a warm hug. If you didn’t like the first one, this won’t change your mind. But for the rest of us, the ride is worth it.
The cast does its job, but Bill Murray, even with limited screen time, has a presence that fills everything. Just seeing him already hits me with a sweet kind of sadness, because Lost in Translation still hurts with how beautiful it is. Here, once again, he plays the too-cool-for-this guy. And he nails it.
The film may have ups and downs and lacks some freshness, but as a love letter to a cinematic era that marked a whole generation, it works. And even if we’re not 9 years old anymore, some things still manage to move us just the same. And honestly, that’s priceless.

Who wrote this drivel? Who are these nobodies?? Get with me & I’ll show you a worthy screenplay

A real let down after the good Ghostbusters Afterlife. The main characters were almost sidelined here in favour of weaker characters. Great start but then took ages to get going, boring and slow for most of the movie.

This is so action packed and has nostalgia. But it pushes the action barrier a little to high

Fun sequel. Not great. Not terrible.

A respectful homage to Harold Ramis, new and wonderful talents, and a familiar and intense plot 👍🥰
