This film still holds up after all these years! I was waiting and still got a little jolt at the first ghost they encountered screaming back at them. The cast is hilarious, especially Bill Murray. His delivery and wit is superb.

I love this movie. I first saw this movie when I was five years old and it inspired some of my writing. Almost everything in this movie is perfect: An interesting plot, great actors, comedy (even the subtle comedy is great), and it has become iconic since the time of its release. While none of the sequels or remakes can hold up its legacy (The 2016 one was trash, and no, I'm not saying that because they are all female, the writing in that one is garbage), this one still stands as an amazing movie and I will always love it.

When I first saw this, I was playing with the contessential The Real Ghostbusters figures, plays et, the slime with ghost figs, and vehicle. Gozer was the enemy, as the team takes on whatever she dishes out, from Stay-Puff the Marshallow Man, the pooches, and She-Devil herself.

One of the greatest movies of the 80s, I laughed a lot seeing this film
