, 65% Audience Score- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsIt is worth the time, is not a feel-good movie, is an honest depiction of the people of their time, and is well-based on actual information. If you had read the conquest of Mexico records from Sahagun you would put in images of what Sahugun was describing in words. It might be a history assignment for college or high school students. It is an entertaining way of understanding human nature on its darkest side.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsReal harsh gold. Perfectly fine
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely interesting. Very good story and plots.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI really liked the characters and actions of the actors
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsOnce you assume the reality of American conquest, quite predictable, but a good symbol of all what was beneath.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFun movie. I preferred Warner Herzog’s Aguirre, The Wrath of God as a more engrossing story from the same time period.
