- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI personally thought it was a well acted well thought out film.love the way the story turns you against certain characters and builds to an unexpected end😊
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFrom the start I thought it was a comedy then things take a dark turn and it changes completely. The turns in the story are unexpected and that’s what kept the film entertaining and watchable, I also loved all the characters especially the 2 cops and their boss. Excellent movie
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsIt was good until the scene with the Dog
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsGreedy People is kind of nonsensical and kind of fun. It has many faults but is also kind of entertaining. It purports to be a noir style comedy/thriller but it falls short in most areas. We follow two cops in a small Southern town. Will is a rookie and has an expecting wife. He is paired with veteran Terry who is unhinged and morally questionable. On call Will is called to investigate a burglary. Accidentally there is a death at the scene. When Terry joins Will they also find a huge amount of cash in a basket. So there the coverups begin. For the death and also the money. The action gets crazier as it goes along. The problem I believe is that a lot of it rings false. It's also probably not funny enough to keep you gripped. But I guess it's also loosely entertaining. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Himesh Patel do their best with the insubstantial material. A minor effort, but has its moments.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThe plot was terrible. The characters were all incredibly unlikeable. It’s advertised as a “comedy” but not funny? The only thing that made this movie relatively worth my time was Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s acting and I mean the ONLY thing.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsJust really really stupid, it gets a slightly better score because of some of the acting.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsDark comedy unexpected twist and turns , enjoyed the movie from beginning to finish.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsGreat movie, but heavy sigh, I had to deduct points for Gaffy trying to destroy the movie with his wildly tragic reductive imaginations, we get it Gaffy you're a simpleton, we are not all overly consuming, duh.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThe dog dies. Completely pointless plot point.
