Green Lantern, unfortunately, is a missed opportunity. The overall CGI is subpar, Hal Jordan comes across as too dismissive of the immense power bestowed upon him, and the villain's motivations are shallow, portraying evil simply for the sake of being evil. On a positive note, there are a couple of entertaining moments, and the visual effects of the power rings are impressively executed. With a director like Martin Campbell at the helm, this superhero film should have had much more going for it.

Green Lantern is a messy film full of plot holes, its CGI is terrible and pathetic, its action sequences are poorly done and the characters themselves don't have an ounce of charisma.

“Ahem.” clears throat “This movie was… an experience. Like eating a glowing green jellybean and immediately regretting everything. Ryan tried, I’ll give him that. But that CGI suit? It looked like someone wrapped him in green jello. Hard pass, folks.” Rating: “2/10 – More like ‘Green Lantern: The Slimy Saga.’ Yikes.”

The story itself is enjoying and the cast is excellent as Ryan Reynolds was a perfect Hal Jordan, but the does have it's problems. With saying all that the movie (especially the extended version) is definitely worth watching as it's very fun to watch

I don't think it's the worst superhero movie ever, but it's definitely horrible. I could go on and on about everything wrong with this movie, but the biggest infraction for me was that I just found it really boring. The visuals were decent, but it wasn't enough to make the movie good.

I really enjoyed Green Lantern! The film does an excellent job of explaining how a Green Lantern is chosen, showcasing their training, and emphasizing their core philosophy around willpower. The constructs they create with their rings are visually stunning, and the battles are thrilling. The casting choice for the lead role was fantastic, bringing the character to life in a way that made me truly invested in the story. I wish they had continued with more sequels, there is so much potential to explore further!

I was so delusional when I saw this movie in theaters when I was 14 and I had no idea how bad it was until a few years ago.

Not bad, pretty entertaining... not sure why Ryan Reynolds hates it so much

Idk, there really isn't anything for me to strongly dislike about this movie, but there was nothing for me to really enjoy. I thought Hal Jordan was a pretty interesting character, but the movie was just very generic. Was kinda confused on what the plot was early on. Then, what I figured was the problem at hand, it was something a little different by the end. Definitely not the best I've seen, but I have seen some worse superhero movies.
