Greener Grass
audience Reviews
, 58% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAmazing film. Do not let the low stars rating scare you off. It is not for everyone, but if you are an artsy, theory loving, deep analysis type of person, this is such a fantastic film. It's more art project than movie which I'm obsessed with. I recommend this to everyone I can. It's such an interesting commentary too. It truly is "the girls who get it, get it, and the ones that don't, don't." type of media, and by god do I get it! I've never seen anything like this and I don't think I ever will again. Genuine masterpiece of art.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreener Grass, you had me at, "YOU'RE a school!", and, as we all know, if anyone's a school... it's Julian.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsShould've been a short film. Humor was great at times but mostly hard to sit through for the length of time.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis is the kind of comedy I hope we aren't destined for as a society. Greener Grass was so strikingly unfunny and almost pretentious in its attempt to be funny that I have to question every critic and viewer who gave it a positive review. I only half chuckled at one brief scene, but beyond that I struggled watching it and I'll never watch another film by the writers and producers who created it. I wish I had the time back I wasted watching it.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsA gratingly painful watch. A sadistically unfunny and pointless 'comedy' with a horribly saturated colour palate. You will wish you had not bothered.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSo good, so weird. Better with bong hits.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsIf you like the surreal absurdly funny, this will be right up your alley. Hints of Monty Python's Meaning of Life sketches i.e. "Can we have your liver then?" and if you liked the Ministry of Silly Walks ;)
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis movie is terrible. It makes no sense whatsoever with no coherent plot other than "polite lady does what people want and it ruins her life". It is not funny. I laughed once AT the film not with it. The most bizarre thing about it is, you watch the film where strange things happen and everyone just accepts it as normal, but then you read the amazing reviews and see 4-5 star ratings for it and wonder for a sec if the "plot" of this trash has spilled over into your real life. I genuinely do not see why it gets such good reviews. The aesthetics are pretty I guess.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsUtterly bizarre and powerful. The comedic elements surprisingly do not outweigh the sickness of Greener Grass.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsbahahaha; i think the key is knowing what you're getting into before you watch this one, haha. if you like quirky weird randomness, then you might enjoy this one.
