Grizzly Man

Very boring and forgettable.

Loved the documentary. Very sad ending . What a great man/person though. He was so passionate about wildlife . Alot of people have negative things to say about T.T. , but he was an outcast, he found that connection he was missing with people with animals/bears . I think it was very unfortunate what happened, but i dont think he was "stupid" for what happened. Something different happened that last year . It was a tragic accident . Rest in paradice Treadwell . I will forever speak good on any human that is kind to animals !!!!

The story may be somewhat well-known, what gives it a magical touch is the introspective and documentary tone about a dedicated guardian of nature, his mission and his tragic end that leaves no one indifferent.

Enjoyed it very much. Very outdoorsy and if you love nature.

看《Grizzly Man》得出的一點心得： 人類總是對outcast極為苛刻，極為嘴損。不知道嘴outcast是因為嫉妒他們的勇氣還是嫉妒他們的主體性過強以至於不需要透過他者認同來獲得自身價值感的確立。 總之，我很佩服在這個shit社會中的outcast們。 TA們是極端浪漫主義者。

A truly unique concept and a thought provoking story that I thoroughly enjoyed. The film has a raw, slightly low-fi vintage early 2000's look to it that I love, featuring beautiful shots of nature shot by Timothy Treadwell. It feels at times almost comical, with some of people featured almost seemingly acting or spoof like even though it clearly isn't. Themes range from nature, loneliness, mental health, escapism and ultimately freedom which is what Treadwell found in on way or another.

There were some interesting interviews with business people about grizzlies but the movie focussed less on bears and more on the mental problems of Timothy Treadwell. It looks like his alcohol abuse did some serious brain damage, sad to expose his looniness. He seems to be someone who could lose it and be a danger to human groups. Some loopy female friends, sad that he took one of them with him

Somehow this doc that focuses on the hyper-eccentric individual in question ends up being not only entertaining but also a bit heart-wrenching. Herzog however, also communicates the wonderful intentions and impact Treadwell ultimately had.

This is a story about an idiot man who burned out his brain from a previous drug overdose. Not only did he kill himself, but he killed the girl and one of the bears. What is worse is the people who produced this film are making money off it.
