Hardcore Henry
audience Reviews
, 55% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsHardcore Henry is a nauseating gimmick stretched to feature length. The 1st-person perspective grows tiresome within minutes, and no amount of frenetic action can mask the paper-thin plot and wooden characters. A headache-inducing experiment best left unwatched. 5 out of 10 🤙
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsVisually it will definitely give you a migraine to watch it. The plot is thin as water and full of holes
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA crazy action movie with a revolutionary idea, although there were less interesting parts, but as an idea a good movie.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThis movie can certainly be praised for it's ambition and over-the-top action, but it's way too disorienting and ridiculous to fully appreciate.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI thought this movie was badass, great stunts, great editing, great action set pieces, and such a unique viewing experience. A little light on narrative, but for me the film more than made up for this with its non-stop action and unique go-pro camera work.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsin my opinion its the best but you can think otherwise its action packed high quality editing and the CGI is top tier its in my top 1 movies it has a story that actually makes sense and I am going to try to make a movie just like this one
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is a very good action Movie. I love this. Camera work is Great. Enertainment Top Notch. Get some extra Popcorn.....
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAlmost none stop action, this a good thing but overly shaky camera is not. It was like a cheap FPS game, not much of scenario, acting and many other stuff, it is watchable. don't expect much but crazy action.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars"Hardcore Henry" is like jumping straight into a first-person shooter game, and for a gamer like me, that's both cool and kind of confusing. The action is non-stop, and the special effects are seriously impressive. You feel like you're inside the game with all those crazy stunts and explosions. But the story? It's as flat as a pancake, and the characters don't really stand out, except for Sharlto Copley, who does a great job bringing some much-needed life to the film. The villain is over-the-top and cartoonish, which made it hard for me to take him seriously. It's original, sure, but it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. This movie is pure mindless entertainment—if you're an action junkie, you'll probably love it. Personally, I think it would have been a better video game than a movie. Buckle up if you're into that, but it's not really my thing.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHardcore Henry does its job perfectly. Awesome action, fantastic special effects and phenomenal stunts. From explosions to body parts flying to insane parkour to escape insane villains, it’s all here. The main protagonist, “Henry,” never speaks and we see the entire story and movie looking through his eyes and essentially living through him and learning everything as he does. It’s definitely got the first person video game thing going for it. One thing I cannot stand is shaky, hand held camera shots and even though this would be the one exception to that style, they still managed to keep everything visually pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed Hardcore Henry and can’t recommend multiple viewings enough.
