This is an absolutely hopeless adaption. This movie is terrible, and is an insult to the books.

This is definitely my favorite movie in the entire series. Seeing the world of Harry Potter expand was great, and the shift in tone from the other movies really made it stand out. I definitely recommend it!

Not that terrible, only a few plot holes and some terrible choices. For example, during when Harry tries to get the dragon egg, the dragon literally escapes the arena and chases Harry around the ENTIRETY OF HOGWARTS DESTROYING WALLS AND THE PROFESSORS AND EVERYONE DOESN'T EVEN CARE. THEY'RE JUST SITTING AROUND EXPECTING NOTHING TO HAPPEN

I really love the Harry Potter films, I really like the cast, but this movie is one of the most disappointing in the entire series.

I would rate this one above Prisoner of Azkaban, but otherwise it is the weakest film in the franchise. This is due to the book being over 700 pages with tons of missing content. They trimmed the film down and it threw pacing off. Overall, a nice visit to the familiar castle we love.

This is my personal favourite Harry Potter movie (I ADORE ALL OF THEM) and Hermione at the Hogwarts Ball... MY GOD...

Im watching the HP saga for the first time and this is by far the worst and dumbest of all the HP movies. The plot overall is completely stupid. Characters act like they aren't aware of themselves or whats happening. Feels like it was solely made for the visual effects, which are great but far from being enough to overshadow the terrible writing and logic of this movie.

This is a very well-made transposition of the book, realizing complicated scenes with a good mixture of drama, fun and good acting considering the young age of the main protagonists. The movie is getting darker than the previous, the atmosphere is balancing that with the action and the incredible scenarios. The characters development shines through, although of course, there is some smoothening that could be done on some details where one can see the maturity of the actors. There are some great scenes and great action as well as more introspective moments, focusing on displaying the “characters”, in a quite good balance. The movie is keeping a good pace, being interesting most of the time and not trivializing the flow, building up to reaching a dramatic climax.
