Heartworn Highways
audience Reviews
, 86% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDefinitely the greatest music documentary ever made. An original!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMore documentary and less performances (a mixed bag themselves) would've given this mess some structure and intent.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsAnyone who likes music should watch this
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent, you wont be sorry about buying this little jewell. The party at Guy Clark's house will take you back to the day...
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsEntertaining, if meandering, look at some country musicians. Some nice moments all around in the film itself, but the bonus footage on the DVD is really special.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA bit meandering, and several performances that I was tempted to skip over, but worth it for the good bits. I especially liked the Townes Van Zandt footage and the Christmas Jam Session with a very young Steve Earle near the end of the film (and there are several nice outtakes in the 'DVD extras' worth a look).
