Hell of a Summer

It is about a group of little summer camp shitheads - but you don't care to even stay around for their deaths. Coming from a horror fan; pass on this one. Waste of one's time.

This was a fun little summer slasher. Nothing amazing but passable enough. I love seeing more from Finn Wolfhard.

Unoriginal unfortunately. This 'reveal' has been done multiple times in the past couple years. The acting is not bad but it lacks a proper arc.

There is something so frustrating about watching a movie that initially seems (and markets itself) as being original but is really just rehashing a million tropes you’ve seen before.

While Hell of a Summer isn't the worst slasher ever made, it's disappointing that no effort was put into making it more original. The premise plays out like every other camp-set horror movie, the counselors are bratty kids who lack any depth or genuine arcs, and the killers wear tacky masks and have an even tackier motive.

Started off good but fell off hard. No one was really a likeable character and they rated it R when in reality they could have probably gotten away with pg-13. Overall honestly disappointed especially cause the trailer made it look really interesting.

This is good. It’s not as good as the blackening (another comedy horror movie), but it’s still pretty good. I think if your looking for a comedy horror, see the blackening first.

It's pretty funny here and there. Had fun, but there definitely could've been more. Characters are great, but the movie is pretty bare bones.

I thought it was really funny and no one seems to guess the killer in this movie!

Good time and has some good one-liners. I had a few issues with certain plot points, but overall had a good time with it.
