This movie was a complete waste of time. I can't understand why it received such high reviews. The artistic and religion elements didn't matter; it was far too long and offered no sense of hope by the end. Save yourself the trouble and skip it! Half a star. Boooo

Very good story, did not disappoint, more cerebral terror and no cheap scares.

    Intelligent films “bore” the stupid.

Very engaging. The young actresses were fantastic. HG good as always. Just a pity the director really overcooked the last half hour.

Was great until it lost me in the third act. Nevertheless, acting was 10/10

Pretty cool ending, interesting story, classic A24 vibes, I enjoyed it—but it’s forgettable.

The only thing horrific about this movie is how tediously drawn out it is. And will Hugh Grant just shut up for a 5 second period the entire movie to give us all a break..NO, he won’t. And thus it becomes a straight up torture flick.

    Boring Movie

Started well. Like so many of these movies it relies on the quality of script. In this case it faded away & became passe. Not clever enough to be scary.

Not sure why I liked this movie but I did. Very slow burning with not a lot happening. Whole lot of talk and not else. But Hugh Grant is amazing and poses some brilliant philosophical questions. Not sure about the ending though, it's very ambiguous and leaves you with questions.
