This movie is great! If your read this story in your Bible you will see they stayed true to it. There is some parts that drag on but because I love the story it's not really a bother. I wish they made every story from the Bible like this. Must watch great movie

I’m a man of faith who loves the Bible. I expected to really like this movie. Unfortunately, the film is too amateur to justify recommending it. Its pacing is dreadfully slow. I wanted to fast forward over and over to get to the good part. The hair and make up were terribly distracting. The costumes were very low budget. The constant, drawn-out close ups on Abraham’s face were over done. Much of the acting was amateur. When we finally reached the climactic point of the story, it was over in a flash. The scene that I patiently waited for by enduring the molasses pacing was over in the blink of an eye. This was very disappointing. So I like the original true story, but I didn’t like the way this movie told it.

Great to watch with friends very informative and keep you on the edge of your seat the Camera quality and backgrounds are beautiful and the style of this movie is perfectly unique and targets every audience and is an instant classic the acting and quality could be better but take nothing away from the actors and how they make you feel ready to see what happens next and gives you a spiritual experience that makes you feel like your a character in the story

Wow! I saw the movie some time ago, but came across rotten tomatoes reviews. Very surprised at the positive reviews of the critics. They usually pan faith based films pretty badly. Kudos to them. For a low budget film I really enjoyed it. Many times faith films can be kind of lame. This definitely was not. Fairly true to the Bible with some artistic license. Very much worth watching as a family and discussing afterwards.

Am I the only one who can't get passed the title? Abraham had Isaac and Ishmael. I'm not talking about the Islamic issue. Ishmael being born is part of the Biblical message. It is an additional demonstration of Abraham not listening to God.

Drags a bit, but still a step in the right direction for Christian filmmaking. Well acted and visually pleasing. Shocked that this movie cost a quarter of a million and looks better than many blockbusters.

Absolutely wonderful! This movie was done so well! I enjoyed everything about the script, the acting, the way the story was told. It was actually done beautifully.

So many inaccuracies and made up stuff. Such as, in the Bible, Sarah was 90 years old when she bore Isaac. In the movie, she must have had a wonderful plastic surgeon because she looked in her middle years, and on and on. The pace of the movie was so slow, I confess I dozed off from time to time. I don't understand the Bible story movies from Angel Studio that are not true to scripture.
