Hit Man

Kinda dumb… plot was completely ridiculous. But an ok movie for movie night. Not too deep.

Listen, I would actually give this movie 3/5 stars, but the rating needs to get knocked down a little. How much were the critics paid to give this movie a 95%?? Best I can say is that the main characters were hot, and about half the film played like softcore porn, so it has that going for it. The first half is slow and kind of directionless, which I actually didn't hate. I had full faith it was gonna pick up soon. Problem is, it picked up by suddenly steering onto the highway and into oncoming traffic. The second half of this movie was definitely written by someone on a bender and a deadline.

What a bore, lacking in rhythm, and an utterly bland ending. That said, it did keep me occupied for two hours on a Sunday afternoon without making me want to fast-forward, which is at least something.

A great movie with an interesting plot. Glen Powell delivers a great performance.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. It is moderately interesting up to the third act. Then everything goes off the rails, characters act in ways they would never act, and then after the credits role, you find out that the third act never happened and then you go to Google and find out that Maddison was made up for the movie. Complete waste of time and how it has a 89% audience rating is beyond me.

Surprisingly fun and funny!

Quite a good, funny, and light-hearted film, well worth a watch!

I turned this off about 30 or so minutes into it. If you like Glen Powell, the lead in this, you will like this movie I’m sure. I appear to be one of the few who thinks he’s not very genuine or charming in the films I’ve seen him in.
