A franchise that has the stereotypical threequel involving summer/vacations. It could seem enjoyable/amusement for the family audience, but it feels less than something classic of its predecessors. Dracula has started to turn into a bachelor in this when it came to the death of his wife, Martha & gets a lust for life with the ships captain. It's very like a 2010s Ice Age movie; not the greatest & should be the one that is worth to end the franchise.

I don't understand why they kept on making Hotel Transylvania movies because from 2 that's where it had to end unless if this movie was sorely based on a conclusion to the franchise rather then summer vacation it would've been great.

This has to be the best one out of all the four of them. Great movie. Loved Murray.

An alright follow-up that with a neat change of scenery and some decent new additions with Kathryn Hahn and Jim Gaffigan. The climatic solution with the Macarena was super cringey, but the rest of the movie was relatively inoffensive and mildly amusing the whole way through. The slapstick and animation style is brisk, but almost too fast and can often feel weightless at times that can feel like jingling keys. I can’t call it bad, but I can’t call it great either. Just a middle of the road sequel with just enough charm for an alright experience.
