Hurt
audience Reviews
, 60% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsVery slow movie with no sense of survival from the characters. It just seems that it was trying to use available minutes and didn't know how to use them, so it made the shots longer with no dialogue. I won't watch it again or even recommend it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsUnbelievable the ratings here. The movie is clearly low budget, and what a massive win for indie. The movie might be a tad slow but it's not muggy. It's moody, building suspense and atmosphere. It's a fantastic Halloween thriller, leading to horror. Yeah there's some things that could have been done better, like the main character's drive to survive. I won't give spoilers. But meh this is a classic imo. People just don't understand indie I guess. Not everything is Paramount.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsOne of the worst horror movies I have seen. I don't understand the high ratings here. IMDB had low ratings, and I should have heeded them.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsSLOW and PAINFUL to watch! You will spend most of the movie wanting Rose to be killed to put her and yourself out of your misery. Just another bad movie that makes you beg for everyone to die so it can just be over already. The makers of this movie should have to pay you to watch it! An hour and a half of my life I can’t get back, unfortunately.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsSlow, whiney, cry baby but no tears, and wimpy. Very slow movie. Just plan stupid. No one strong. True non smart cluless busted dingy people town
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsStupid plot full of cliché, I wish for once someone would write a plot where people would behave normally when they’re being chased by a killer, i.e. not running into the basement or locking themselves in the room instead of running out of the house.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsThe still shots in this film are way too long. I felt like I was looking at photographs instead of watching a movie. The pace is painfully slow and the characters are unlikable. A little over half way through I started fast forwarding. The end is decent but it's not worth the 75 minutes you have to suffer through to get there.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars3/4 of the way in and no real scares. More of a couple drama dealing with PTSD. No real reason to root for the characters and no suspense builds. For the hour and a half of free time I have I'd like to not have to endure a movie under false pretenses and be promised to "wait till the last few minutes for a payoff"....
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsone of the best horror movies Ive seen in some time. actually tries to do something different for a change. really good
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsStarts off okay, the director shows a very rare talent for having scenes that would be way too long in 95% of movies hold your attention here. But they just get longer and longer and there ends up being no substance except for a minuscule, telegraphed twist at the end, but it's way too little too late. It's almost completely worthless. It's not zero stars, because it shows some talent across the board, but it is no more than one star. With some kind of motivation by the antagonist, who remains anonymous and a nothing character, hence not scary at all, it could have been so much better. As it is, it's just splatter with almost no substance, form, connection, nothing.
