I Kill Giants

To find this to be an epic movie, one must believe more than what can be seen with one's two eyes.

Not truly horror. Leaves you guessing if it's fake or not, but of course it is. Sad movie, but really gives you appreciation of life.

I had not heard of this but turned it on about halfway through its showing on tv. Had to go back and see the beginning once i finished it. The symbolism is very deep, i can understand why some people dont like it. I thought it was fantastic and very original.

This should get a sequel.

Great movie! Needed a part 2 and 3.

One of the most brilliantly crafted, atmospheric, realistic movies I've seen in a while. Yes, I know it wasn't marketed correctly, but I am sick to death of people giving it bad ratings purely because they wanted to watch a monster-slaying fantasy epic. That does not bring down the quality of the movie itself, just the marketing team.

The worst movie I have ever seen… Just go watch “A Monster Calls”, it’s so much better than this hunk of shit. If I could give it zero stars, I would…

A film about transitory (?) mental illness ...

A solo un anno di distanza da "7 minuti dopo la mezzanotte" questo film ne ripercorre tutti i principali temi senza fare sostanziali modifiche; ad eccezione forse della location più estiva e dei colori più vividi ed accesi. Il tema sicuramente è di interesse ma manca quasi totalmente l'innovazione nell'affrontarlo e anzi, la sceneggiatura sembra un po' troppo incentrata sulla lotta ai giganti immaginari, con un'aggiunta sommaria e mal riuscita relativamente al bullismo. Nonostante questo il finale riesce sorprendentemente ad emozionare. Vengono purtroppo totalmente sacrificati i personaggi dei familiari, tra cui quello potenzialmente molto interessante di Imogen Poots.
