I Kill Giants feels secret and dangerous, like a VHS tape dug out of a dusty crate at a yard sale; it's the kind of movie you ended up watching every week as a kid just because of how weird it made you feel.

About those giants. This is by no means a big-budget film, but the CGI creatures are pretty cool to behold.

I Kill Giants is a fantasy, a beautiful allegory of growing up “different” and a deft handling of a storyline that could have been either too cute, or far too adult.

With an imaginative premise framing a poignant tale of acceptance, the film is utterly delightful.

I Kill Giants is a different kind of comic book movie, one that has a heart and soul missing from the current box office fodder. I adored everything about this film and found its complex dream-like narrative poignant as well as refreshing.

The performances, particularly from Madison Wolfe and Zoe Saldana, are touching and incredibly talented.
