the movie was alright, I won't say it's a bad movie

I Watched this movie because I really enjoyed the original Rosemary's Baby and recently saw Apartment 7A which I enjoyed as well but not as much. The synopsis said this was along the same line. Watched the movie which in my opinion was more gory than scary and the ending.... so disappointing. I literally yelled at my t.v. "really? That's it?". The main actress was the only (no pun intended) saving grace.

Despite its disturbing and ludicrous story, this movie was really enjoyable, and Sydney Sweeney was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend it for horror and drama fans!

While It may be too reliant on jump scares, It has an outstanding and bold performance by Sydney Sweeney and a unique and interesting plot that is effectively creepy and will have you on the edge of your seat which in the end makes the film worth a watch.

Really good watch from beginning to end. Sydney sweeney did an amazing job and I know it was a passion project of hers to make this film. A lot of people compare this to the first Omen but I think this film excels in every way from the acting to the story. I like how this is split up by the trimesters of her pregnancy making the story easy to follow.

The movie concept, script and production gives the chills because is eccentric as religion has been for centuries IRL for many things, such a the hunt of witches, crusades and politics. Basically is not far fetched of a reality that could actually happen behind walls. I loved the whole movie, cast and execution to inspire secrecy, loyalty, degenerative and overall intervention of human meddling with the devine at any cost. The only sour taste is left with the ending of the movie for me. A true horror/thriller should leave you with wonder, shivers and the question of the unknown to be reminded that is a sin and scary to meddle with the devine. Instead is showcasing a closed circle that doesn't make much sense of it, other than the super resilience of a regular girl nun. I would had definitely two different finale for it that would had made the movie rating reaching peak. Simply just make the "evil" win and showcase the aftermath of such beeing alive and give a hint of the mothers sin to fake a bad pregnancy and trying to stop it, by a simple scene where he is in the high ranks among the church and maybe do the water/wine trick serving the Pope, but instead is chicken blood. Easy winner twist to leave them goosebumps to sat for a while.

A fairly average nun-themed horror film with some beautiful visuals. There's also a bit of gore, and the film's running time is another plus. I don't understand the hype or the hate surrounding Sydney Sweeney; I've never consciously noticed her, just the media discourse surrounding her. She's okay, she screams well, and she looks scared. That's all it takes for a quick horror flick.

Enjoyable. Sweeney took on Sister Cecilia. Overall, the cast was an enjoyable, creative, scary drama (some melodramatic moments)with a couple of gross moments. A big screen vibe. Sweeney is one of those actresses that fits into both movies and TV mediums. The flow, costumes, beginning, middle and ending (creative storyline/plot) connected into a cohesive story. I wondered how a second movie would come about, if it were to happen, thus an indicator that I liked this movie. Overall, this movie delivered enough that I found it worth going to the movie theater. The theater TLC in Hollywood was a fun place to catch this flick!

With echoes of ROSEMARY’S BABY, IMMACULATE conjures creeping dread and cloistered terror—even if its footing occasionally slips.

Started out interesting and then basically just becomes a lazy idiotic film. Several things are left unexplained like why her tooth fell out or why her nail fell out! The burn alive locked in a room villain magically makes a return at the end and it all climaxes with the main character biting through the umbilical cord picking up a rock and killing her own baby that’s also half Jesus or something absolutely absurd
