- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI really liked this film as it was beautifully shot plus the acting was great. The Ireland country side is a dream to view and there was some good action scenes. It's more a relaxing film then say a die hard, it would really be great on a rainy day.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsSo, this is what Liam Neeson sounds like when he is using his Irish accent. Seems odd that it took so long for him to simply be cast as an Irish man. Outside of being Irish, this is the role of Liam Neeson has been playing since 'Taken'. He is the action tough guy. This time Neeson plays Finbar Murphy, a veteran assassin who decides to give up the trade, and his boss is surprisingly cool with it. But, circumstances arise that bring him back into an action movie. I enjoy the fact that the circumstances that bring him in are all very tangentially unrelated. It had a lot of good potential going into the final act, but then it just fizzles out with an underwhelming finale.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starshad not heard of this one. saw 2024, Liam Neeson, Kerry Condon, so gave a go. glad i did, as it's a pretty good movie. recommend.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsI love Liam Neeson and he did once again amazing job even though he is getting older but more experienced
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsBoring. Formulaic. Old and tired. Uncreative. Terrible. It's hard to believe so many liked this movie.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie captures the atmosphere and ambiance of small town life on the west coast of Ireland in the mid seventies in a way that very few films have done. The characters that inhabit this movie are realistic and each role feels "lived in." The plot was well paced and the performance of Liam Neeson is one of his best, subtle strength and aching regret that does not betray "Finbar's" nobility. Jack Gleeson is wonderful is wonderful as "Kevin" and brings a lot of rich nuance to the role. Kerry Conden is all steely commitment as "Doireann" and Ciaren Hinds scenes with Liam Neeson are a joy to watch. Two great actors who are so great together. Yeah, I loved this movie. I highly recommend it!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt was pretty good. Lot of action, and beautiful Irish countryside.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsIncredibly long winded and boring. Wish I had turned it off after the first 10 minutes
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA great Irish film. Liam Nelson was awesome in this one, Jack Gleeson was good too. It was about attacks that occurred in Ireland with the IRA. There were noces scenes of the countryside too.
