Independence Day

This is a film that was well written, had an absolutely great cast and provided rerrific entertainment.

Pinnacle of American cinema in my younger years! Classic!

If you like action and sci-fi then you will like this movie. It's not the best popcorn movie but it is engaging. I remember seeing it on there big screen when it came out in 1996 and I loved it. The story had tooo many side stories and should have focused on less of them. The only main thing I didnt like was not enough of the aliens themselves, but it still makes a great movie

Silly and yet is really entertaining and thrilling sci-fi action disaster summer blockbuster film and perfect to watch on 4th of July.

A great movie, with one particular emotional scene, when the guy people took for crazy is finally vindicated, and sacrifice himself for Humanity.

I don’t know if it’s nostalgia but I love this movie. There are plot holes but aliens attack earth you have to suspend belief. Characters are what make this movie. You really root for them and it’s one I will always go back to.

Its been 25 yrs since I have seen this. Yes, tech is old but so what. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thankful to ABC for running this on July 4th 2025.
