Inside Out

Inside Out is one of the best movies of the year, psychologically astute, witty, imaginative, utterly captivating.

Almost as if someone realized that kids were people too...Inside Out truly pushed the envelope when it comes to kiddy flicks.

Inside Out, which is co-directed by Pete Docter and Ronaldo Del Carmen, may be [Pixar's] most inventive film yet.

In the first half of the film, I was being piloted by Confusion and Dissatisfaction. But by the end, Joy was very much in charge.

Inside Out is designed and presented with the accustomed skill and invention that have been the hallmark of Pixar productions.

It is not easy to depict something at complex as depression, or something that resembles depression in Riley’s case. But Inside Out somehow makes sense of it.

The voice casting is impeccable and the psychology of this film is brilliant.

The voice casting is perfect, the humor is spot on and smart, and like the best of Pixar it brings the water works (three times for me!).

The film's heart is what sets it miles above the Pixar catalog even though it has the charm and humor that one expects from a Pixar movie.
