Ishkq in Paris

Only the gorgeous city makes one stay on the seat.

Sadly, Ishkq In Paris comes off mostly derivative, and wholly predictable.

So here’s what it comes down to: if you’re a die-hard romantic like me, then you might be in a mood to close your eyes to this film’s many flaws. I suspect that's the only way Ishkq in Paris would be your cup of tea.

[A] movie that is trying hard to be cutesy and romantic only to have you cringe, wince and roll your eyes during the longest 96 minutes of your lives. One that will ruin Paris for you, forever.

The narrative flaws and love story clichés are only too obvious. They do great disservice to the cast.

Preity Zinta's maiden production has its aesthetics in place. Paris is enchanting. The actress is good but there ends the show.

The film might get you to do two things -- plan a French holiday; or pull out a particular old DVD. Somehow, one doubts that Ishkq in Paris is trying to achieve either.
