It: Chapter Two

It wasn't as good as the first one, but it was still fun! It had a lot of shocking developments, was well worth watching, and was a proper horror movie, but it was a bit disappointing that the way Pennywise was defeated was by using bad language.

Well, they somehow did it. They made the adult half so good that I'd say it's better than the kid half. This was an absolutely incredible sequel to It and definitely better than the 1990 film's adult half. It just generally felt more emotional and, beyond my expectations, it's above The Shining in my Stephen King adaptation ranking. Let's begin, then. This is basically the Insidious 2 of It: this is a sequel that was needed, as it's the second half of the story, and it's in my opinion better than the original. It just expands on the story a lot and has some great set pieces, like the carnival and Beverly's old house. And it feels emotional to me, like the ending of a great book, which this basically is. I'll have to read the book at some point. And, of course, Pennywise was good in this as well. He seemed sadistic, killing a child in front of Bill for instance, and his spider form was quite a cool mix between Pennywise and the spider form from the miniseries. Also, while I do wish the ending was closer to the book, I'm happy that this generally had a happy ending for our characters. That's what I like about this: it's different to the miniseries and book, but it's good. It does it's job well. Overall, a fantastic sequel and finale to the duology.

While it's a little disappointing sequel It Chapter 2 does have great scares but not as many and but an anticlimactic ending.

I love the thrill in this movie, kept me on my toes and I personally love IT chapter 2 and the first movie too,

An amazing conclusion to the first IT, just not as good in the points of acting and scaryness.

Perfect sequel to a movie. Same as chapter one but with different cast. The adult cast play what the kids where like perfectly and there were so many interesting and twisting moments throughout the movie, especially at the end. SO COOL.

The terrible overuse of bad 3D graphics when watched in 2D ruins this whole thing before it even gets started.
