It Had to Be You

Christin Milioti makes any movie better. A very real and quirky romantic comedy.

I couldn't even get through ten minutes of this movie. Not a good sign when the first scene shows the main character on the toilet. Ugh, just no....

Quirky and adorable. There were lots of tears and a lot of laughs along the way.

I'm not one for Romantic Comedies in general, find them all too similar, but I really enjoyed IT HAD TO BE YOU. As a young woman, I definitely think this taps into most people my age's psyche: do I really want to spend the rest of my life with this person, am I settling, is my partner settling? It's an extremely honest look into relationships and dating in the 21st century.

Cristin Milioti is so quirkily endearing in the lead role that she makes it easy to just go with the airy tale.
