Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

Although Chris Pine moves Jack Ryan from nerd to action hero, this was still entertaining, especially in the second half.

A failed action movie in 1.75 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very poor film. Very little that’s good about it. Very clichéd.

Enjoyable popcorn movie , Chris pine is good, action scenes are pretty good. Don’t expect to much from it but worth a watch

A nice budget delivers a pretty film with a decent cast, but it is impressively stupid and a worse butchering of Jack Ryan's character than the cuts of steak at my local Safeway.

One of the worst movies I have seen. Having read the books and seen the first series of movies, this one was a big disappointment. The biggest flaw is the ridiculous plot that has one analyst being entrusted to save the entire US economy. The movie has so many talented actors that are wasted on the silly story.

Well directed well acted engaging story. Nothing new to add and Jack Ryan in name only but it is a fun ride.

It was pretty good but definitely my least favorite of the 5 movie franchise. The last 3rd had way too many ridiculous, impossible scenarios. Watch if there's nothing better on.

A thriller without personality or originality. It smacks of heavy re-writes designed to fix something beyond repair.
